I am looking for an Ocean Engineer – Portland, Maine
Competitive compensation package may include relocation.
Qualifications include a BS (or higher) degree from an accredited university; at least 5 years of experience in design, construction, deployment and operation of subsea structures and systems; and ability to work collaboratively with fellow engineer team members, consultants and other team members, including management. Must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting and dealing with clients, and be legally eligible to work in the United States. Strong analytical skills are required.
THE GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES ARE:
Lots of travel/field work and direct interaction with field operations group, marine contractors, government agencies. Must have the ability to manage several projects and competing priorities simultaneously. The position will provide key input to inform the engineering, project development, site assessment, environmental permitting and licensing functions.
