Cindy Jolicoeur is General Manager of C+C in Boston, a social good marketing firm headquartered in Seattle. She is the newest addition to the NEWIEE Board and will lead the organization’s marketing strategy.
Cindy believes in being the change you want to see in the world. That’s why, after a decade leading marketing and advertising campaigns for global brands like McDonald’s, Gillette, Georgia Pacific and JP Morgan Chase, she decided to shift her focus to mission-based marketing. Working on US EPA’s first “Change A Light, Change the World” campaign was the catalyst that sparked her passion for energy efficiency and clean energy marketing. For the last 18 years, Cindy has focused on using her powers for good by working with government, non-profit and private sector leaders on energy efficiency and clean energy initiatives that help save energy, reduce carbon emissions, create jobs and strengthen the economy. Her work has earned her a reputation for thought-leadership and results-driven marketing innovation, as well as numerous awards from AESP, CEE, ENERGY STAR, as well as citations from state and local government.
Cindy loves finding new ways to connect the dots between people and ideas, and using those insights to drive action. She enjoys cultivating teams, and working together with like-minded individuals to create big ideas that drive even bigger benefits. A graduate of Boston University’s College of Communication, Cindy is a long-time member of the Association of Energy Services Professionals (AESP) and a charter member of New England Women in Energy & Environment (NEWIEE). She is a frequent speaker on innovations in energy efficiency marketing and motivating behavior change, and her thought leadership pieces have been published in The Hub magazine and white papers for AESP.
